COVID-19 Testing

If you don't have any symptoms of COVID-19, but have a known exposure, you will consult a medical provider in-person or via Indigo Online Care. 

Fully vaccinated people who have a known exposure can be tested 5-7 days after exposure, and are asked to wear a mask in public indoor settings for 14 days or until they receive a negative test result.

Please schedule an appointment to get tested. We will bill your insurance for the visit and lab. If you don’t have insurance, the cost of your visit will be $250, which includes a provider exam, consultation, and rapid lab testing (covid, strep, influenza). If your test needs to be sent to a lab for further analysis, an additional fee may be billed.

Anyone with any symptom of COVID-19 will be tested (cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills/repeated shaking with chills, new muscle pain, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, new loss of taste or smell, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea).

Yes, we offer nasal swab testing for all ages, including babies and young children. Antibody testing is available for ages 16 and up.

The fastest, easiest way to get your lab test results is via your MyChart account. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can sign up here. Enter the activation code you received on your patient visit summary sheet. If you do not have an activation code, you can sign up online. 

For patients who do not have a MyChart account, we will call as soon as we get your lab results. We know it's difficult to wait, but we ask you to hold off calling our clinic until a full 3 days after you were tested.

Rapid (RT-PCR) test results are generally available within 24-hours. 

For standard nasal swab PCR tests, you can expect to receive results in 1-2 days. Lab turnaround times can vary.

Antibody test results generally take 2-3 days.

Yes, COVID-19 rapid (RT-PCR) tests are currently offered at all Indigo locations.
These tests are available for individuals who have symptoms. Rapid test results are available same-day, generally within a few hours.

Please consult with your surgeon/provider about how to get a test. At this time, we do not offer pre-surgical COVID testing.

Indigo Urgent Care can provide COVID-19 testing regardless of vaccination status. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or were recently exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, visit your neighborhood Indigo. Our team will make a testing recommendation based on your individual case and the most recent CDC guidelines.
