What to do if you have COVID-19 symptoms
If you have upper respiratory symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath) and believe you need to be evaluated for COVID-19 -- call first before visiting a hospital, medical clinic or urgent care.

What to do if you have cold or flu symptoms
Fortunately, most mild cold and flu symptoms can be treated at home. Over-the-counter pain and fever relievers, cough medicines and nasal sprays for congestion can help ease your symptoms.
Be sure to get extra rest and drink plenty of water and clear liquids, such as broth or decaffeinated tea. If you have a sore throat, gargling with warm salt water can help relieve the pain.
