When should you choose Indigo Online Care?

Life is hectic. When you need medical care, it isn’t always easy or convenient to squeeze in an appointment with a provider. And an in-person visit may not be nearly as comfortable as recuperating on the couch.

If you or your little ones prefer care for a minor illness or injury from the coziness of home or while out of town, Indigo Online Care may be right for you.

How does online care work?

Indigo Online Care makes it easy to get care on your schedule — no appointment needed. Choose from two simple, convenient and affordable options:

  • E-Visits

    • Start a visit anytime, 24/7.
    • Complete a quick questionnaire about your symptoms and how you’re feeling.
    • Once your answers are submitted, an Indigo provider will review your symptoms. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a diagnosis and treatment plan, which may include a prescription.
    • E-Visits are covered by many insurance plans. Without insurance, the cost of is $40, which is comparable to an insurance co-pay.
    • We’ll do our best, but not all conditions can be treated via Indigo Online Care. If you can’t be treated, you won’t be charge for your E-Visit. You may be directed to one of our Indigo Urgent Care clinics for care.

  • Video Visits

    • Meet face-to-face with an Indigo provider. Visits are typically 15-25 minutes.
    • Available 8 am to 8 pm every day, including holidays.
    • Receive a diagnosis, treatment plan and prescription, if needed.
    • Video Visits are covered by many insurance plans. Without insurance, the cost is $99.

Whichever option you choose, you’ll receive the same high-quality care from the same trusted and board-certified providers you would normally see in one of our Indigo Urgent Care locations.

What are the benefits of online care?

Along with convenience and comfort, Indigo Online Care offers additional benefits:

1. Easy to access; no IT degree required. All you need is a smartphone, tablet or computer and a reliable internet connection.

2. Less time in the waiting room. We’re always happy to see you in person, and always strive to make your visit as quick and comfortable as possible. But we get it. There’s no place like home when you or your kiddo are under the weather or weathering an injury.

3. Immediate help for anxiety and depression. If you or a loved one are struggling emotionally, don’t wait for help. Indigo Online Care offers screenings for anxiety and depression for adults 18 and older. Simply complete a quick questionnaire and connect with a trusted Indigo clinician via video to talk about a care plan and treatment options.

4. Convenient care and prescriptions for recurring conditions. If you’ve had UTIs in the past and know the symptoms, Indigo Online Care makes it even easier to get the care you need, when you need it.

5. No need to take off work or arrange for child care. Virtual care visits are easier to fit into your busy schedule.

6. Less exposure to illness. Virtual medicine isn’t just a pandemic fad. Online care is an effective way to prevent the spread of COVID-19, flu and infectious diseases.
