Indigo customers in Pierce County can get prescriptions delivered

To make health care even easier for you, MultiCare Indigo Health has launched a new prescription delivery service at its Pierce County locations.

“We know picking up a prescription after an urgent care visit is never easy, especially for families with kids,” explains Ryan Fix, President, MultiCare Retail Health.

“By launching this new service, we’re keeping our promise to customers and continuing to innovate on their behalf.”

Prescription delivery will be offered from 8 am to 10 pm every day of the week. Even customers who get treated at the end of the business day will be able to get their prescription delivered same-day.

Delivery is a flat fee of $10 and will cover all of Pierce County and all Pierce County Indigo locations, including  Bonney Lake,  Frederickson,  Orting,  Point Ruston and  Puyallup.

“Indigos were designed to radically improve the care experience for customers and we think this new service will be a big hit with patients,” says Fix. “We hope to roll it out to all 30-plus Indigos by early next year.”

This new service is a partnership between Indigo, MultiCare Pharmacy and Phox Health, an on-demand delivery platform for health systems.

Indigo Health treat a wide variety of minor injuries and illnesses—sore throats, ear infections, allergies, rashes, small cuts that may require stitches, sprains and minor fractures, just to name a few. Digital X-ray and onsite lab tests are also available, including  COVID-19 testing.

Customers can reserve an appointment time online or walk in, whatever is most convenient for them.

In addition to adding new services, Indigo has opened several new locations in 2020, including Bonney Lake, Auburn, Maple Valley and Liberty Lake in Spokane.

A better way to get better.
